The Trengilly Wartha is situated in a small hamlet in an area designated as being of outstanding natural beauty, about one mile from the village of Constantine. The hotel's name translated literally means the settlement above the trees. Nestling in the wooded valley of Polpenwith creek we are surrounded by six acres of our own gardens and meadows.

The hotel has been under the personal stewardship of the owners, William and Lisa Lea, for more than a decade. During that time the Trengilly has been built into one of the country's leading residential inns. There are six cottage bedrooms in the hotel all have their own facilities and are thoughtfully and attractively furnished.

Bistro - catering for the persons who want the atmosphere, but still would like a little extra service. There is a regulars favourites Bistro menu as well as the burgeoning specials board. Three top Cornish chefs compete to put specials on the board. This covers a range of locally produced meats and game, with fish and shellfish from local waters, modern vegetarian dishes, rich imaginative desserts and Cornish cheeseboard with home made biscuits, all cooked under supervision of the owners.

The Trengilly's bar is a friendly Cornish local inn, with a good mix of people eating and drinking, or both! There is a no smoking family room in the conservatory area. Being a free house we offer a choice of unusual ales, several of which are served straight from the stillages.
