Built in 1840 as a Wesleyan Chapel, it still retains many of its original features although it now offers all the mod cons of naughties living in a most comfortable and unique style. It has three bedrooms and sleep 6 people, two bathrooms, a bespoke kitchen with granite work surfaces, a large family bathroom and an en-suite shower room in the bedroom which leads off the double bedroom. A twin bedroom leads off the raised lounge dining area which overlooks the kitchen. Triple aspect through some of the original windows out onto farmland provides a changing view throughout the year. Detached with a south facing garden and sun trap patio area, this chapel offers a most delightful accommodation in which to holiday as our guest book supports with many return guests. Located 3 miles from Kilkhampton which is only 8 miles from Bude. The chapel is within walking distance of Tamar Lakes which offer many varied water activities and a bird sanctuary. The delightful less crowded beach at Sandymouth is only 6 miles 10 minutes away. Bishops is a great place for summer holidays but always a very cosy atmosphere provided by the large woodburner and electric aga for those winter breaks.
