‘Autumn Group Show: Paintings and Prints’

3 October – 23 November 2009.

Porthminster Gallery, St Ives hosts its annual autumn group show of new collectable works by best-selling gallery artists, and invited emerging, and established, artists, showing here for the first time in Cornwall. The exhibition is staged in the gallery’s wonderful setting commanding outstanding views across St Ives harbour.

Gallery artists featured include: Tony Scrivener’s expressive semi-abstract still life and landscape oils, and Cornish artist Vincent Wilson’s painted, collaged landscapes.

Invited artists featured include: St Ives artist Bob Devereux’s abstract watercolours, Bath-based artist David Hampton’s semi-abstract still-life acrylic paintings, Jill Hodge’s colour etchings and mixed media works of St Ives Bay, and Erin Ward’s atmospheric Cornish landscape oils.

New contemporary ceramics by collectable potters and ceramicists, including: Tim Andrews, Helen Beard, Clare Conrad, Sarah Perry, Karen Shapley and Camilla Ward.
