The St Mawes Hotel is a 9 bedroom hotel situated in the idyllic settings of St Mawes and the Roseland Peninsula. This quite little village ,reknowned for its location and sailing combines cornish charm with secluded beaches,and costal vistas that are simply breath taking.

Located at the tip of the Roseland peninsula you are by no means cut off from civilisation ,but alternatively one can be if one wishes. The car can be abondoned to the car park ,with ferries operating all day to Falmouth ,Truro and St Anthony . The water taxi runs in the summer season ,and enables guests to speed of to a private beach or waterside restaurant ,of which there are plenty. Some of local activities available such as fishing trips ,kayacking ,windsurfing ,sailing ,coastal walkind and dolphin spotting are no further than a quick jaunt away.

For those wishing to explore more of Cornwall we are within a 30 minute car drive of some of Cornwalls main attractions including The National Maratime Museum ,The Eden Project , The Lost Gardens of Heligan , Pendennis Castle and the famous surfing beaches ofNewquay. If this all sounds a bit hectic ,why not mull it over with a cream tea or a glass of pimms and watch them at it from our balcony , theres always tomorrow !

Originally refurbished in the winter of 1999 The St Mawes Hotel is situated but a stone throw away from the waters edge in the delightful village of St Mawes, Cornwall. A friendly welcome is offered to all our customers, be it hotel guests or members of the public that frequent our bar & restaurant.

The hub of the hotel is our Café bar.The ground floor bar that opens out onto the street in the summer, that lends a feeling that you could be on the French Rivera rather than within the UK, to our first floor Restaurant, which offers a informal atmosphere and fantastic views of St Mawes harbour and Falmouth Bay. Weather permitting allows diners to enjoy our balcony and to take in the superb St Mawes views.

The St Mawes Hotel has nine en-suite rooms available. Located in the main building of the Hotel are five simple but attractively decorated rooms. Warm creams and yellows and natural woods, plus fantastic sea views from our three sea facing rooms, they are certainly the best introduction to a comfortable and delightful visit to St Mawes and Cornwall.

New for the summer of 2009, our Cottage at the rear of the Hotel has been transformed into four tastefully designed spaces to ensure that our guest have a comfortable stay. Although they do not offer a sea view we have taken every effort to provide a living space that will indulge and satisfy our guests and make up for the lack of view.
